The Cognac industry dominates the local area and agriculture and has spawned many associated industries in glass, barrels and paper. It offers several possibilities for spending many a pleasant hour in tasting and seeing how it is made. The choice ranges from a local producer in the hamlet (only a 2 minute stagger) to a selection of organised tours from the larger houses such as Courvoisier in Jarnac or Martell in Cognac.
